Why get baptized?

Here at Eastpoint, we go public with our faith!

When we put our faith in Jesus, we let everyone know through water baptism. Why?

  • Jesus said that the first step of becoming His disciple is baptism. (Matthew 28:19)

  • In the early church, when someone surrendered their life to Jesus in the early church they were instructed to be baptized. (Acts 2:38)

  • We believe baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision.
