SPIRITUAL GROWTH PLAN

We plan for everything that is important to us: Work, vacation, house renovations, meal planning, and working out. Why not create as intentional of a plan for our spiritual growth?

Growing to be more like Christ is God’s plan. Everything in your life can be used by Him to grow you in your faith. At Eastpoint, this is our great expectation and hope. We anticipate this growth in our lives. Growth in faith is not an optional add-on for the years where we have time. It’s the norm for every believer!

Let’s start simple: Pick just one of our seven Discipleship Values

Complete your spiritual growth plan based on that value. It may not seem like much, but think of the cumulative effect of these plans over the next several years. These will add up! Let’s keep it simple and go slow. Trees don’t mature in a day. Neither do we.

GROWTH PLAN OVERVIEW

Your plan has two parts, designed to answer two questions: “What is God saying to me?" and “What am I going to do about it?”

  • Check out the seven values here!

B. My Growth Steps

  • How will we grow? Healthy growth is holistic growth. So we want to come up with a handful of Growth Steps that address our Knowing, Being and Doing (or our Head, Hearts and Hands). For Sample Growth Steps, use the toolbox below.

  • What do I need to learn or understand better to grow in this area? What questions might I need answered to grow in this area? What podcasts, articles, books or people might I pursue to learn more?

  • In what ways do I want to change? What do I believe the Lord wants to transform me into? Describe the character and inner motivations you want to have at the end of this year with identity statements: I am a disciple who…

  • What are some habits you want to try? What practices or experiences would help you grow in this area?
